Three political parties have fielded their candidates in North Gondar Zone of Amhara State for the national elections scheduled to be held in the coming May, zonal electoral board coordination office said. Office head, Bitweded Tesfaye disclosed on Thursday that Ethiopian Democratic Party (EDP), Medrek and Ethiopian Vision Party have fielded candidates. Meanwhile, seven independent candidates have registered to compete for seats in the parliament.
