Close to 70 percent of eligible voters in N. Gonder receive Voters' ID Cards |

Close to 70 percent of eligible electorates in North Gonder Zone of the Amhara State received Voters’ ID Cards in order to cast votes in the coming national elections, the zonal election coordinating office indicated.
Office head, Bitwoded Tesfaye disclosed that more than 900,000 of the 1.3 million eligible voters living in different parts of the zone received Voters’ ID Cards so far. Some 407,000 of the over 900,000 registered voters are women.
He said electorates were receiving Voters’ ID cards so far at 1,742 polling stations established across the 23 woredas and town administrations of the zone.
