95 percent of eligible voters in Jimma zone received Voters' ID Cards |

Close to 95 percent of eligible voters in Jimma Zone of the Oromia State have got registered and received Voters’ ID Cards to cast votes during the upcoming national elections, the zonal election coordinating office said.
Office coordinator, Awatagn Kidanemariam disclosed that more than 1.077 million of the over 1.17 million eligible voters have already got registered at 1,517 polling stations established in different parts of the zone. There are 18 constituencies across the zone, he said, adding electorates have been registering and receiving voters’ ID cards by their own initiative.
